Reel to real Zuckerberg on ‘SNL’ (video)

Awkward.

Facebook co-founder and CEO Mark Zuckerberg popped up on “Saturday Night Live” last night — in a cringe-worthy first meeting with his reel-life counterpart, Jesse Eisenberg, who played Zuckerberg in “The Social Network.”

“SNL” cast member Andy Samberg first showed up playing Zuckerberg before the actual Facebook founder joined the fun.

“Why can’t I go in there? I’m the real Mark Zuckerberg,” the Facebook founder said from backstage during the opening monologue. “Those guys are such nerds — I invented poking!”

When he joined the actors, Samberg slinked away, remarking, “Awkward!”

Eisenberg shyly asked: “What did you think of the movie?”

“It was interesting,” the Facebook honcho replied, before high-fiving and shaking the actor’s hand.
