Two people killed in car accidents in Brooklyn

Two people were killed in fatal accidents in Brooklyn early today, including a 17-year-old girl, police said.

The driver in the first accident lost control of a Mercedes about 5:40 a.m. in South Park Slope on the eastbound Prospect Expressway, flipping over after hitting a concrete median at the ramp to the Brooklyn Queens Expressway, cops said.

EMS found Shi Ying Wu, 17, in the backseat with severe trauma to the body, and she was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said. The four other passengers were brought to area hospitals and treated for minor injuries. No initial criminality is suspected, cops said.

In Sheepshead Bay, a 23-year-old driving a BMW plowed into the back a truck as its driver was getting in shortly before 6 a.m., cops said. The 23-year-old driver was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he died. His 25-year-old passenger also suffered minor injuries. The truck driver refused medical attention, authorities said.
