What’s the latest bag coveted by A-Listers? That would be Stella McCartney’s “Beckett” bag. Over the past couple months, it’s been seen on a number of celebrities from Los Angeles to Paris, including, of course, Stella’s good friend and recent collaborator Gwyneth Paltrow.
Named after Stella’s 5-year-old son, the latest design was introduced for Winter 2013 and is in stores now and on stellamccartney.com. With its minimalist design and neutral color palette, it’s a welcome shift from the overly dramatic styles recently popular with starlets. And since the bag can go from completely flat when folded to perfectly packed when open, it’s tailor-made for jet-setters.
Bonus: The line is made from faux-leather, in keeping with the designer’s eco-conscious and anti-cruelty philosophy.
Prices start at $340 for a clutch and run up to $1,230 for a shoulder bag (the latter favored by Miranda Kerr and Anne Hathaway).
