Person struck and killed by F train in Queens

A man was struck and killed by a subway in an apparent suicide in Queens this morning, authorities said.

The 39-year-old was hit by a Queens-bound F train about 10:30 a.m. at the Briarwood-Van Wyck Boulevard subway station, cops said. He died at the scene.

Normal F train service has resumed.

A man also leaped to his death in Jackson Heights yesterday as well, police said.

The straphanger jumped in front of a Brooklyn-bound F Train at the Roosevelt Avenue subway station, and died at the scene, cops said.

No criminality is suspected in either incident.
