Hunting Shrapnel

Oliver (Stephen Amell, right) must tackle a new threat when bombs start to go off in Starling City. Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) discovers the person setting them off is Mark Sheffner (Sean Maher), a man who goes by the nickname Shrapnel. Arrow discovers Shrapnel’s next target is Sebastian Blood’s (Kevin Alejandro) “Unity Rally” and tries to talk the alderman out of hosting it, but he refuses. Arrow sets off to stop the bombing, but Shrapnel tricks him and traps him in a bomb-laced antique store where he is unable to move without setting off the device (come on, he has to smarter than that). While Felicity helps Oliver, Diggle (David Ramsey) races to the plaza to find the bomb before it explodes. Meanwhile, Roy (Colton Haynes) continues to hide his new strength from Thea (Willa Holland). And Laurel’s (Katie Cassidy) suspicions about Sebastian grow stronger. After Donner (guest star Dylan Bruce) refuses to help her investigate, Laurel has no choice but to turn to Arrow for help
Arrow, Wednesday, 9 p.m., CW

Disappearing Act

Some cases are cold, others frozen. Tracy Lynn Allen, a young, divorced mother of two, disappeared from her home in Altus, Okla., one night while her neighbor baby-sat her girls. Her ex, Garland, showed up at the sitter’s house, saying Tracy had asked him to pick up the girls and bring them to Tracy at his place. Garland actually dropped off his daughters with his mother and took off. Twelve years have passed since Tracy vanished and “Cold Justice” experts Kelly Siegler (left) and Yolanda McClary (right) have their work out cut out for them. Luckily, Detective Bill Perkins from the Altus Police Department help them find out what happened.
Cold Justice, Friday, 8 p.m., TNT

Voter Fraud Not So ‘Good’

Alicia (Julianna Margulies, left) and Will (Josh Charles) each represent one half of a couple accused of drug smuggling. More interesing, Marilyn (Melissa George, right) investigates possible voter fraud in Peter’s election. Meanwhile, Cary (Matt Czuchry) tries to woo a Lockhart/Gardner client and Kalinda (Archie Panjabi) tries to repair a damaged relationship.
The Good Wife, Sunday, 9 p.m., CBS

Don’t Pick The ‘Flowers’

The V.C. Andrews novel “Flowers in the Attic” has exerted a powerful spell on readers over the decades. It was filmed in 1987 with Louise Fletcher and Victoria Tennant. All these years later, Lifetime is doing a remake with Ellen Burstyn (left), Heather Graham (right) and Kiernan Shipka in the roles of their grandmother, daughter and granddaughter of a very strange family with serious Gothic leanings. The four Dollanganger kids, for instance, live in the attic of their grandmother’s home, hidden away until the mother, the recently widowed Corrine (Graham), can reclaim the family fortune. Corrine, however, meets a new man and the kids are left to their own devices — which take a natural and unnatural course as Cathy (Shipka) and her brother Christopher go through puberty.
Flowers in the Attic, Saturday, 8 p.m., Lifetime

‘Idol’ Tries Connick

Beset by the petty rivalry of Mariah Carey and Nicki Minaj last season, “American Idol” lost a lot of traction. To stem the tide of viewers to other channels, Fox is trying once again to mix the perfect cocktail of judges. The network has lured back Jennifer Lopez (second from right). She knows the drill and can advise the new man on board — Harry Connick Jr. (right). Keith Urban (second from left) returns as the third judge. Ryan Seacrest (badly Photoshopped at far left) returns as the host.
