Another set of details have emerged from the night that became the focus of a Miami police investigation involving San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
An initial report on the “suspicious incident” described Kaepernick, teammate Quinton Patton and former teammate Ricardo Lockette (now with the Seahawks) drinking and smoking marijuana with a woman who later retreated to a bedroom of the hotel apartment. According to the police report, Kaepernick joined the woman in the bedroom and undressed her, and she later woke up in the hospital with no memory of how she arrived there. No charges have been filed in the case.
WINZ in South Florida unearthed the incident search report from the Miami police that documents the first complaint. It shows Lockette called 911 to complain of a “completely naked” woman refusing to leave the premises. It adds to the murkiness surrounding a case that has yet to produce a criminal accusation.
