Violent fiend busted after 4 alleged sex assaults in Bronx

Cops caught a sex fiend wanted for four attacks in the Bronx, authorities said.

Miguel Lopez, 33, was arrested late yesterday and is accused of raping and robbing an acquaintance, as well as sexually assaulting three strangers, cops said.

On Sunday, he allegedly followed a woman he had met before into her Bedford Park building about 5:50 a.m., and robbed her and a 49-year-old man at knifepoint.

He then allegedly followed the female victim into her apartment, where he raped her, cops said.

Not long before the attack, Lopez allegedly flashed a box cutter at a 24-year-old woman in Soundview on the corner of Cornerbeach Avenue and the Cross Bronx Expressway, and punched her in the face about 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

He sexually assaulted the woman and asked her for cash, but ended up running off empty-handed, police said.

Lopez also allegedly donned a ski mask and approached a victim, 27, from behind about 3:30 a.m. March 24 near Westchester Avenue in Soundview, and tossed her to the ground.

He punched her repeatedly, and sexually assaulted her.

In the first incident , he attacked a woman, 27, walking to the train in Morris Heights about 4:55 p.m. Feb. 24 from behind. He hit her from behind, pummeled her and sexually assaulted her.

The violent pervert was hit with a slew of charges, including rape, robbery, aggravated sexual abuse, criminal possession of a weapon and attempted rape.

He lives in the Foxhurst section of the Bronx, and has a violent criminal history, according to law-enforcement sources. He has been busted five times by the cops, including for attempted murder and sexual abuse.
