‘Batch’ at face value

KISSERS: What makes a face-match? “Outline of the face and spacing of the eyes,” says a computer matchmaker who used facial-recognition software to predict Brooks (bottom) ends up with Desiree. (

No need to waste the next 10 weeks wondering who will win “The Bachelorette.”

Manhattan matchmaker Christina Bloom already knows with scientific semi-certainty:

Brooks Forester, 28, a sales rep and part-time model from Salt Lake City will be bridal stylist Desiree Hartsock’s choice.

So, without inside information, how did Bloom pick Brooks out of 25 eligible men?

Just by looking at their faces, she says.

“I have come to the conclusion that we are attracted to people who have similar facial features,” says Bloom, founder of FindYourFaceMate.com, which claims 70,000 members.

“It triggers a sense of familiarity and what we call chemistry.”

Using the same facial recognition software as the government, Bloom is facilitating hook-ups. She believes she’s the first.

Bloom uses a custom-developed computer program to analyze each of her clients’ faces and match them with compatible partners.

Her algorithm — developed by a team of California researchers — has correctly predicted the winner or runner-up on the past two seasons of the ABC dating show.

But this time, she’s shimmying out on a limb and calling the winner before the first episode airs tonight.

Desiree and Brooks “share the same outline of the face, both have narrowing jawlines and wider temples,” she says. “The lips are the same shape and their eyes are equidistant on the face. They are a very strong facial feature match with a lot of potential.”

Bloom says she could have told Hartsock from the beginning that Sean Lowe. the last “Bachelor,” was never going to pick her.

“I didn’t see it,” Bloom sniffs.

In fact, based on her system, Bloom believes Lowe and the woman he did choose — Catherine Giudici — are not going to make it to the altar for a promised TV wedding next year.

Why? Sean’s “Dancing With the Stars” partner Peta Murgatroyd.

“I really believe that there is a strong enough connection for something to happen,” says Bloom after running their faces through her program

Stay tuned.
