Food Network replaces Deen with Garten

Paula Deen’s noon show on the Food Network has been replaced by episodes of Ina Garten’s “Barefoot Contessa.”

It’s one more nail in the TV coffin of the Southern chef.

Tomorrow morning, Deen will sit down with Matt Lauer on “Today” in the 7:30 half-hour to defend herself.

This morning, Deen’s sons, Jamie and Bobby, were interviewed on CNN’s “New Day.”

“Neither one of our parents ever taught us to be bigoted toward any other person for any reason,” Bobby Deen said in an exclusive interview with Chris Cuomo.

Deen’s fans are standing by her. Her forthcoming cookbook, “Paula Deen’s New Testament: 250 Favorite Recipies, All Lightened Up,” rose nearly 1,300 percent on Amazon in the last 24 hours.
