Backstage at the Desigual show, supermodel Karolina Kurkova was coy on why she won’t be returning for the second season of Naomi Campbell’s modeling reality competition “The Face,” which she judged last year alongside Campbell and Coco Rocha.
“Um, how do you answer that?” she demurred, looking to her publicist for a lifeline. “It was an amazing experience . . .”
But Naomi’s rage-fueled craziness was just too much?
“No, it’s not that,” she says. “It’s good to look at other things and do other projects.”
She does, however, still keep in touch with Devyn Abdullah, her team member who ended up winning the show.
“I don’t know if she’s walking [in shows] yet because she’s doing all the castings, but she’s doing good,” says Kurkova. “Her daughter’s growing, too, so it’s not like she just has her modeling career.”
