With his 2012 directorial debut “Ted,” Seth MacFarlane proved that his crude, non-sequiter-filled brand of humor worked just as well on big screen audiences as it did on television viewers.
Now the “Family Guy” creator is a taking a stab at westerns in his latest film, the upcoming action comedy “A Million Ways to Die in the West”
Unlike his last movie, which starred Mark Wahlberg and only featured MacFarlane in a voice-over role, the funnyman will be front and center this time around, starring in the film as well as writing and directing it.
Besides previewing a fraction of the promised ways of dying, the trailer also shows off the rest of the film’s star studded cast, which includes Charlize Theron, Sarah Silverman, Liam Neeson, Amanda Seyfried and Neil Patrick Harris.
“A Million Ways to Die in the West” is schedule to arrive in theaters on May 30.
