Sext gal: Weiner marriage more of ‘an arrangement or a business;’ Huma in it just for power, stature

Anthony Weiner’s sext paramour was under the impression that the mayoral candidate and his wife were in a loveless marriage.

“It almost feels to me like it’s [more] an arrangement or a business than a marriage,” Sydney Leathers told “Inside Edition” in the second half of an interview that airs Friday night.

When interviewer Jim Moret asked Leathers if she thought Huma Abedin, an aide to Hillary Clinton, was still with Weiner for “power” and “stature,” the 23-year-old Indiana native said: “I would agree with that.”

Leathers said Weiner, who she claims to have had phone sex with twice a week, contacted her in April and asked her to delete records of their chats.

“Obviously I knew that he wanted me to erase any evidence of our conversations, because that was around the time I knew that he was going to run for mayor,” she said.

But Leathers added she was “stunned” when Weiner made his candidacy official. She said in the first part of the interview that she grew so close to Weiner that during their six-month digitial fling, the pervy pol even consulted with her before ultimately deciding to throw his hat into the ring.

Leathers also painted Weiner as jealous, getting angry when other men commented on her Facebook photos with compliments.

“We were Facebook friends, so he could see if men were commenting on photos of me, or telling me that I was pretty,” Leathers said. “Really minor things like that really bothered him.”

Leathers called the phone sex sessions “a fantasy thing for both of us.” But it was more meaningful to her than that.

“I cared about him a lot,” she told Moret. “He was very important to me.”

Asked, “You told Anthony Weiner you loved him?” she answered, “Yes.”

“Did he tell you he loved you?” Moret asked. “Yes,” she replied.

Now, she’s a woman scorned. And Leathers has no qualms about divulging the intimate details of their relationship.

“Anthony Weiner is responsible for his downfall,” she said.
