The real name of Baby Hope was finally put on her tombstone yesterday, more than two decades after her body was found stuffed in a cooler off the Henry Hudson Parkway.
The tombstone (left) for Anjelica Castillo, 4, was completed (right) on Thursday, with her name and birthday etched over her resting place at St. Raymond’s Cemetery in The Bronx.
“Identified in 2013 as Anjelica Castillo” is inscribed under “Baby Hope” on the tombstone.
Police finally determined the child’s identity after a renewed push to solve the crime on the 22nd anniversary of her July 1991 death.
The girl’s uncle Conrado Juarez allegedly confessed to smothering her, bundling her with twine and stuffing her body in the cooler.
Cops, who paid for the burial in 1993, will hold a ceremony at the graveside Friday to remember the tragic tot.
