A male nurse is charged with raping a patient at a Bronx nursing home on Tuesday, police said.
Nanic Aidasani, 42, was arrested for sexually assaulting the 64-year-old woman at the Manhattanville Health Care Center on West 231st Street in Riverdale around 1:30 a.m., cops said.
Police say the woman is disabled.
Staff at the center notified police of the assault.
The patient was taken to New York Presbyterian Hospital for treatment, cops said.
Aidasani is charged with rape. He has no prior arrest history, cops said.
A spokesperson for the care center could not be reached.
