Gandolfini gets a street in Jersey

James Gandolfini’s home town will name a street after the late “Sopranos” star.

Park Ridge, NJ officials will rename part of the borough’s main thoroughfare, Park Avenue, after Gandolfini, who died at age 51 last June after suffering a heart attack in Italy.

Officials said the idea originated with fans who organized on Facebook after Gandolfini died, according to nj.com.

A resolution is expected to be adopted soon.
