Michael Ovitz, the former CAA and Disney boss once known as the most powerful man in Hollywood, sure is indecisive when it comes to real estate.

The entertainment kingpin, now also known as the art-collecting dad of designer Kimberly Ovitz and the boyfriend of former Jimmy Choo tycoon Tamara Mellon, bought Robert De Niro’s gorgeous landmarked West Village townhouse at 14 Saint Luke’s Place for $9.5 million last year. Ovitz then hired famed architect Steven Harris to draw up plans for a gut renovation and even went through the torturous process of getting the whole thing approved by the city Department of Buildings.

But instead of going ahead with the renovation, Ovitz just put the 6,933-square-foot home on the market for a whopping $12 million. The buyer will have access to Harris’ design plans and be able to finish what Ovitz started.

Baryshnikov’s plié-à-terre

Ballet legend Mikhail Baryshnikov and his wife, Lisa Rinehart, have pirouetted their way away from the Upper West Side.

The couple, after receiving 12 offers in a bidding war, have just sold their pied-à-terre co-op at the Armstead, a full-service building on West 104th Street.

The apartment, which was listed for $1.15 million, sold for $1.265 million.

The prewar two-bedroom, 1 1/2-bathroom, 1,125-square-foot unit has high ceilings and a large kitchen overlooking Broadway. Building amenities include a roof deck.

The listing broker was Linda Feder of the Corcoran Group.

Talk of the townhouse

The Upper East Side townhouse that once belonged to famed photographer Richard Avedon and then Olivier Sarkozy — before he divorced his wife to shack up with Mary-Kate Olsen — just sold for $11.4 million to a mystery buyer. The home, at 407 E. 75th St., was last listed for $12.5 million.

The four-story, six-bedroom, nine-bathroom townhouse was originally a carriage house. It is 25 feet wide, with dramatic features including a black-and-white stairwell, a dining room with a woodburning fireplace and a state-of-the-art chef’s kitchen. The master suite takes up the entire third floor and includes two woodburning fireplaces — one in the study and one in the bedroom. That level also has a private terrace.

Brokers/HGTV reality stars Michele Kleier and daughters Sabrina Kleier Morgenstern and Samantha Kleier Forbes dining at Lafayette, seated near a group that included real estate developer Edward Minskoff and Vera Wang.

Tour DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio has been sneaking away from the Hamptons for his latest prowl — scouring the streets of Manhattan in luxury vehicles as he tours the city’s trophy apartments.

The latest Leo real estate sighting was at 50 Gramercy Park North, the Ian Schrager building where fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld once owned an abode. This time, our spies spotted the “Wolf of Wall Street” star — wearing a golf cap, a T-shirt and khaki shorts — touring the $14.9 million penthouse. The 4,235-square-foot duplex, described as minimalist, has three bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms. There’s a library with a woodburning fireplace and a formal dining room with Gramercy Park views. A winding staircase leads to the master suite with another fireplace, a home office and two large walk-in closets. The top level has two private terraces.

Listing broker Tim Cass of the Corcoran Group declined to comment.

We hear . . .

That The Post’s former home at 75 West St., now a luxury rental building known as Post Towers, has undergone a million-dollar-plus renovation. Built in 1926, the 19-story Financial Building, now home to 206 units, has a newly updated lobby and a 4,000-square-foot gym along with other improvements, says Orin Wilf, president of Skyline Developers. . . . That Leslie Alexander, the Houston Rockets owner who launched a wine club in the Hamptons, just closed on his $42 million penthouse at 18 Gramercy Park — the highest price paid for a condo in downtown Manhattan. Alexander’s broker, Douglas Elliman’s Melanie Lazenby, declined to comment.
