Stab victim bloody lucky to trip over this guy

He’s the luckiest stabbing victim in New York.

A Bronx man was stabbed by his gal pal’s jealous girlfriend yesterday, but just happened to stumble onto the street into the path of a city Sanitation worker who’s an ex-National Guardsman.

Charlie Ojeda, 50, said he spotted the victim lying in a pool of blood on East 181st Street at 6:30 a.m.

“Once I saw the blood gushing, I had a flashback [to Iraq] and did what had to be done,” Ojeda said.

Ojeda, who has five years on the job with Sanitation, grabbed the battle-tested medic box he used in Iraq.

“When I saw [the blood], I ran to my car and grabbed the first-aid kit I have from the military and I applied a field pressure dressing to stop the bleeding,” he said.

Emergency workers applauded the veteran’s patchwork and took the victim to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was in stable condition.

According to law-enforcement sources, the unidentified man was involved in a fiery love triangle.

His sexual fling with a woman set off her jealous girlfriend, who broke into the man’s first-floor bedroom and went berserk, punching and stabbing him multiple times, sources said. The slasher remains at large.
