Ol’ Blue Eyes himself makes a return engagement Christmas Day when a digitally enhanced Frank Sinatra croons an old tune in a National Basketball Association promotion.
The Chairman of the Board will sing “I’ve Got You Under My Skin” in a spot that will air during a double-header on ABC. Video images of Sinatra will be blended in with footage from NBA games, said a league spokeswoman.
The Sinatra spot is part of the NBA’s “Love it Live” campaign. Last year’s promotions featured Elton John and Lenny Kravitz.
“Frank had a deep respect for athleticism,” said Robert Finkelstein, the Sinatra family’s attorney.
