‘JACKASS” star Steve-O is taking a “so what?” attitude toward a kid who was killed while allegedly imitating a stunt from the anything-goes show.
Worse yet, Steve-O’s comments came during an interview in his home town of Alburqueque, NM – the same town in which the dead youth lived.
“Yeah, I heard something about it. La la la la,” Steve-O (aka Stephen Glover) told Alburqueque TV station KRQE.
“I heard about it. I was like, ‘Oh, wow. Bummer,’ ” he said. “I tried not to pay attention to it. I was tied up in my creative process.”
Steve-O was referring to the death of Stephen Rauen, a 15-year-old high school sophomore who was killed last month when he was hurled off the hood of another teen’s slow-moving pickup.
According to the Albuquerque Journal, Rauen and his buddies were apparently emulating a stunt from the MTV show.
