HOME-INVASION NIGHTMARE

Two robbers from Brooklyn invaded a waterfront Long Island home, ransacked it in search of valuables, and sexually abused and sodomized the housekeeper, police said.

The men, one of whom was armed, forced their way into the Hewlett Neck home at 5:45 Wednesday evening, when the housekeeper answered the door.

One of the men stayed downstairs and the other went upstairs with the victim. He ransacked the bedrooms and, while in one of them, assaulted the unnamed victim, investigators said.

When the homeowners returned home, both men fled on foot. Police found the two men hiding in the area and took them into custody.

Cops arrested Michael Washington, 22, of 310 Crescent St., in Brooklyn, and charged him with robbery, burglary, sodomy, and sexual abuse.

His alleged cohort, Jorge Contreras, 32, of 134 Sherman Ave., in Brooklyn, was charged with robbery, burglary, sodomy, sexual abuse and weapons possession.

Police said one of the men had worked as a laborer, installing bulkheads on the waterfront property, and apparently decided to return to rob the premises.
