A thief slipped out of the luxury-watch retailer Tourneau with a $34,000 Rolex on his wrist after a sales associate in Midtown handed it to him, cops said.

A suspect walked into the Columbus Circle store at about 3 p.m. Tuesday, then asked an employee if he could try on the 18-karat gold Rolex Day Date II, police said.

He was seen on video running toward Broadway, cops added.

He was last seen wearing a Miami Heat cap and a yellow shirt.

Cops arrested a 36-year-old man who allegedly robbed a day-care worker at gunpoint in front of several children in a Bedford- Stuyvesant elevator.

The 39-year-old woman was in a Fulton Street building that houses the day-care center when she was threatened at about 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 12, cops said.

Oneil Borgella was charged with robbery, menacing and acting in a manner injurious to a child, cops said.

Cops want to question a man in a double shooting in Gravesend that left one victim dead.

Police released a photograph of Tromaine Holmes, 31, this week and said they want to question him in the Aug. 12 shooting death of Perice Brown, 27, at the Marlboro Houses.

Brown was shot several times in the torso at around 1:25 a.m. on Avenue V at West 13th Street, police said.

He was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.

Another victim, a 21-year-old man, was shot in the arm and was taken to Lutheran Hospital in stable condition, cops said.

Investigators want to speak with Holmes, but have not called him a suspect.

A man who said he was high on ecstasy sexually assaulted a woman in Brighton Beach, according to law-enforcement sources.

The 24-year-old victim was walking home from the Brighton Beach subway station and was at Corbin Street and Ocean View Avenue at about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday when she was grabbed from behind, the sources said.

The suspect told her, “Don’t scream,” as he forced the woman to touch him while he groped her and said he had just ingested ecstasy pills.

When the creep tried removing the victim’s clothes, she smartly told him that she heard someone coming — and he ran west on Ocean View Avenue, the sources said.

The suspect is about 5-foot-8 and 160 pounds, has a white beard and was last seen wearing a dark-colored sweat shirt and jeans.

Cops are looking for the fiends who vandalized a statue of an angel at Our Lady of Consolation Catholic Church in Williamsburg.

The five-foot-tall statue was knocked off its base. Cops say the damage was discovered by parishioners.

Cops released a surveillance image of a man they say robbed a defenseless woman and broke her jaw in Fordham.

The victim was treated at Montefiore Hospital.

The suspect is believed to be in his early 20s, about 5-foot-9 and 180 pounds, authorities said.

Two men ransacked a Con Edison truck in Corona and ran off with more than 800 feet of wire, law-enforcement authorities said.

While the utility workers serviced a home, the thieves rummaged through the unlocked truck parked on 108th Street near Roosevelt Avenue at about 11:45 a.m. on Aug. 9, cops said.
