Cancer survivor Robin Quivers will host The TJ Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research’s Women of Influence Awards, held this year May 1 at the Essex House (Central Park South).
Quivers — better known as Howard Stern’s sidekick on his Sirius/XM radio show — was diagnosed with cancer in 2012 and, last year, was declared cancer-free after being treated at Memorial Sloan Kettering. This year’s shindig will honor NBC’s Hoda Kotb and Radio One founder/chairperson Cathy Hughes, among others, and will feature a performance by Jetta (“Start a Riot”).
