‘GREENPOINT RAPIST’ GETS 35 YRS.

The “Greenpoint Rapist,” who was accused of attacking six women in Brooklyn, pleaded guilty yesterday to two counts of first-degree rape in exchange for 35 years in prison.

Carlos J. Ramos, 32, entered his plea during pretrial hearings at Brooklyn criminal court. DNA had linked Ramos to one rape; a fingerprint had linked him to another, lawyers have said.

Ramos was busted in July 2001 for allegedly attacking six women, all in their 20s, late on weekend nights as, authorities said. He raped two of the victims.

Ramos originally faced attempted-murder, rape and other charges in the attacks, which occurred from 1999 to 2001.
