RAG & BONE SHOW

Vogue editrix Anna Wintour yawned her way through Rag & Bone’s fall collection of Massachusetts prep school-inspired shrunken blazers and skinny pants.

While the collection of menswear and womenswear appeared to be well constructed and the fabrics of the utmost quality, the designs, mainly belted cardigan sweaters for women and blazers layered over dress shirts and tapered trousers for men, were repetitive and dull — kind of like the clothes you’d see on college kids trying to dress up.

But, when the show was over, Wintour whipped off her signature black sunglasses, adjusted her fur coat and headed backstage looking both delighted and excited. Like her, we’re torn between boredom and the obvious technical expertise.
