This year’s roster of the Tribeca Film Festival (tribecafilmfestival.org), which runs from April 25 through May 6, features more than 20 flicks from and about the Latino world.

Get ringside seats for “Chavez,” a doc about Mexican boxing sensation Julio César Ch vez by first-time director Diego Luna.

April 26 at 9:30 p.m. Clearview Chelsea West, 260 West 23rd St., between Seventh and Eighth avenues. $25.

Directed by newcomer Carlos Ruiz Ruiz, “Maldeamores,” is a melancholy comedy set in Puerto Rico and features a lively Puerto Rican cast, including the inimitable Luis Guzm n.

April 27 at 8 p.m. Clearview Chelsea West, 260 West 23rd St., between Seventh and Eighth avenues. $25.

John Leguizamo turns in a dramatic performance in “Where God Left His Shoes” as a Gulf War veteran living in a homeless shelter with his family.

Filmmaker Vivien Lesnik Weisman’s childhood was punctuated by bombing and death threats on her father, Max Lesnick, a former friend of Fidel Castro. In The Man of Two Havanas she explores her dad’s involvement in the Revolution, his exile to Little Havana, Miami, and his eventual return to Cuba to help end the embargo. Using top-secret CIA audiotapes, she also delves into the fascinating history of Cuban-American relations.
