Yesterday, at the private VIP sale, there was a steady line to get inside the triple-level, circular-style space. Inside, women were carrying 30 items at a time (Nicole Miller dresses, Cynthia Rowley tops, Tocca coats) and trying them on in any nook or corner they could find.
The sale – which features designer clothes at 80 percent off retail prices – is almost like a glorified version of a trade show, with advertisers, marketers, drink companies, car companies and hotels trying to get your e-mail address and personal information.
Hot items include Debra Rodman dresses (reduced from $360 to $145), Sass and Bide jeans (reduced from $275 to $85) and Charlotte Ronson hoodie dresses (reduced from $128 to $40).
