It was a sultry day in Abingdon Square in the West Village yesterday as Lucy Liu and Tom Everett Scott marked the first day of filming for their upcoming ABC series, “Cashmere Mafia,” with a hot wet kiss.
Scott guest-stars on the premiere episode – scheduled to air Nov. 27 – as Liu’s fiancé. Unfortunately, their romance just might hit a snag when they find themselves competing for the same promotion.
They both play high-powered magazine publishing execs in this new series from “Sex and the City” creator/producer Darren Star about a group of female friends – including “NYPD Blue” star Bonnie Somerville – working in New York media.
The series also stars Frances O’Connor, Miranda Otto, Peter Her-mann, and Julian Ovenden.
