City collections for child support jumped $50 million last year after investigators cracked down on deadbeat dads and other parents who owed money to their kids.
That’s an increase of 8 percent from 2007 – and 37 percent since 2002, when Mayor Bloomberg took office.
In total, the Human Resources Administration reported collecting $670.6 million in child support last year.
