A sick Brooklyn school aide was hammered with the maximum sentence of 50 years in prison Wednesday for forcing an 11-year-old boy to perform a sex act in a classroom and filming the heinous incident.
Former Public School 243 aide Taleek Brooks, 43, showed no emotion as Brooklyn federal court Judge Roslynn Mauskopf blasted him for destroying his victim’s childhood before handing down the sentence.
“Taleek Brooks stole that joy and that innocence and so much more from this boy,” she said of the 2011 sex assault. “Taleek Brooks turned his classroom into his own sexual playground.”
Brooks, 43, was a school aide at the Crown Heights school for 16 years and dressed up as the Easter Bunny to entertain children.
He was caught with a trove of kiddie porn on his computer including 900 videos.
And he listed his preferred age range as 10 and up in online chat rooms catering to pedophiles.
The sicko submitted a letter to the court that outlined his own sexual abuse as a child and listed his good works in the community in an attempt to draw mercy.
But Mauskopf referenced a letter from the anguished parent of his victim and read an excerpt aloud in court.
“He just holds stuff inside,” the mom wrote. “I know he is suffering so much.”
The parent said the boy has grown detached and confused after the incident and that his school performance has deteriorated.
“This defendant deserves the maximum punishment under the guidelines,” Mauskopf said before banishing Brooks to a half century behind bars.
