The Devils open preseason play Wednesday versus the Rangers in Newark, and have added two free minor league games there. Their Lowell farm team faces the Rangers’ Hartford squad at 1 p.m. Wednesday and the Flyers’ Adirondack Phantoms at 4 p.m. next Saturday.
