Saturday funeral set for slain Yale grad student

Funeral plans are being finalized in California for a Yale graduate student found dead in her lab building on what would have been her wedding day.

The Rev. Dennis Smith says the funeral for 24-year-old Annie Le will be held Saturday at Holy Trinity Church in El Dorado Hills. He’s acting as the family’s spokesman.

Le was from Placerville, Calif. Her fiance’s synagogue on New York’s Long Island is planning a memorial service on Wednesday.

Le vanished from a Yale research building Sept. 8. Her body was found hidden in a wall recess five days later.

Raymond Clark III is charged with murdering her. He has not entered a plea.
