Girls soccer roundup: Kobayashi, Anasel lead Bard to win

Bard continues to move a step closer to its goal of making the playoffs for the first time as a Class A squad.

Mina Kobayashi, who has four goals and four assists this season, and Alis Anasal each scored two goals for the Raptors in a 6-0 win over School of the Future in PSAL Manhattan A-II girls soccer Tuesday at East River Park. Emma Lumey and Erica Inwald each had a score.

The win is the second straight for Bard (3-1) and moves the squad into sole possession of second place in the division. School of the Future is now 0-4 after forfeiting its first two games.

Leon M. Goldstein 4, Midwood 0: Pamela Wishart scored two goals for Goldstein (3-2) in Brooklyn A-III. Ariel Monserrate and Rachel Murdukhayev each added goals. Midwood is 2-3.

Francis Lewis 6, Queens HS of Teaching 0: Laura Marmolejo scored two goals and Gena Koutsounadis added two assists for Francis Lewis (4-0-1) in Queens A-IV. Queens HS of Teaching is 1-2.

Our Lady of Mercy 5, Molloy 3: Kyra Meli scored two goals and Victoria Antonio added a score for Molloy (1-1) in Nassau/Suffolk Class A.

Christ the King 9: St. Agnes 0: Nazarine Caraccioli scored three goals and Christina Viaggio scored a goal and dished out two assists for Christ the King (1-0) in Brooklyn/Queens.
