MOGUL BUSTED IN ‘COP BEAT’

The former head of Motown Records was busted yesterday for allegedly smashing a Jersey cop in the head with a bottle and snatching his badge in a popular Times Square blues club, The Post has learned.

Kedar William Massenburg, 46, of Saddle River, NJ, was charged with assault and robbery.

His alleged victim, Asbury Park Officer Sean Bradforth, was happily stunned when The Post informed him of the bust, saying, “Really? I’m relieved.”

Massenburg is accused of attacking Bradforth, 37, after the off-duty cop asked a singer for an autograph at B.B. King’s.

He allegedly bashed Bradforth in the head with a bottle, picked up a shard of broken glass and put it to the cop’s neck.

Massenberg’s lawyer, Stacey Richman, called the allegations “patently ridiculous.”
