DESIGNER JAILBIRD FOXY: RIKERS WAS HARD TIME

Foxy Brown insists her prison time was no picnic.

“It was incarceration, not vacation,” the rapper told The Post yesterday. “I only wore the designer clothing I was allowed to have.”

Brown, who did nine months for a parole violation after punching and kicking two nail-salon manicurists in 2006, said there was a reason she wore Gucci sneakers and a Fendi scarf.

“There were certain gang colors my sneakers couldn’t be,” she explained.

Several jail sources said Correction officials acted like an entourage of fawning valets while Foxy was locked up at Rikers Island for eight months, until April.

Chaplains hung out in her cell, delivered her meals and makeup, and gave her unlimited TV and phone access, the sources said.

Yet Brown said she was treated worse than less famous inmates, and called it “the worst period in my life.” She declined to elaborate. As for her prison interview and photo shoot with XXL magazine, she noted that it was the only one she did during her time in stripes.

“I didn’t have any special visitation rights,” she said. Brown plans to blog about her jail experience at GlobalGrind.com.
