Brooke Astor’s 85-year-old son fell off his treadmill and had to go to the doctor today, his wife said.
Anthony Marshall has a bad headache and bruised his left foot and wrist in the spill at their Manhattan apartment on Sunday night, a weeping Charlene Marshall told The Post.
“He actually has a concussion,” she added. “His brain is bruised. It’s swollen.”
She also revealed that the reason Marshall, who exercises regularly because he has a bad heart, was suddenly taken ill two weeks ago — forcing a brief postponement in his fraud trial — because he had a small stroke.
“He needed rest,” she said.
Anthony Marshall is currently on trial in Manhattan Supreme Court for looting his mother’s estate and diverting money destined for charity to himself.
