Actor Joseph Gannascoli, who appeared in the HBO series “The Sopranos”, was arrested early Friday in Tampa Bay, Fla. on suspicion of DUI.

Police pulled Gannascoli, 51, over at 2.24am local time after his 2010 Dodge was seen weaving on the road and agreed to undergo standard field sobriety tests.

Officers observed “numerous signs of impairment”, including slurred speech and watery, bloodshot eyes, a press release from the Tampa Police Department said.

The actor was placed under arrest for DUI.

A Brooklyn N.Y. resident Gannascoli is best known for playing Vito Spatafore on “The Sopranos”.

He also markets his own brand of marinara sauce.
