St. Francis basketball player arrested

A St. Francis College basketball player has been arrested for beating his girlfriend in her Downtown Brooklyn dorm room, law-enforcement sources told the Post.

Sophomore guard Anthony White allegedly choked and slapped his girlfriend during an argument on Feb. 4 because he thought she was cheating on him, the sources said.

He earlier texted her, “I’m going to f— you up.”

When White reached her dorm he knocked her to the ground, breaking her laptop, the source said.

After White fled to his room the woman called her sister who called 911, the source said.

Court records show White was hit with charges including assault and menacing.

First-year player Wayne Martin was the arrested Feb. 11 on suspicion of sexually assaulting the same woman, law-enforcement sources said.

But charges against Martin appear to have been dropped.

Martin tweeted today, “All these allegations and rumor are not true. … I wouldn’t still be in school if they were true.”

Investigators want to speak with two other men who sexually assaulted Martin’s victim as part of the same attack, the sources said.

“The matter is under investigation and there will be no further comment pending the outcome of the investigation,” said St. Francis spokesman George Arzt.
