Charlie Sheen taken to LA hospital with hernia pain after partying with porn stars and cocaine

LOS ANGELES — Charlie Sheen, who was rushed to a hospital today after partying into the wee hours with a bevy of women and a briefcase of cocaine, is suffering from a hiatal hernia in his stomach which causes him “horrible” pain, according to a new report.

The “Two and a Half Men” actor was taken from his Los Angeles home on a stretcher and transported to Cedars-Sinai Hospital suffering severe abdominal discomfort, TMZ.com reported.

TMZ reported the actor has suffered from the hernia — which causes acid and food to back up into the esophagus — for an unspecified number of years.

Sheen reportedly received a “briefcase full of cocaine” in the hours leading up to his “wild” party. The star consumed large amounts of the drug — delivered in multiple bricks in a designer briefcase to his home — a source close to his household told the entertainment website.

Meanwhile RadarOnline cited sources who said that 45-year-old Sheen’s red blood cell count was low and that doctors suspected an ulceration.

“Charlie’s red blood cell count was low and his white blood cell count was high,” one insider said.

“His high white cell count likely indicates an infection; Sheen recently battled an ear infection.”

The star was dehydrated when he arrived at the hospital, the source added.

Sheen’s publicist, Stan Rosenfield, said the actor was sleeping in the emergency room. Sheen’s father, actor Martin Sheen, and his mother, Janet Templeton, and ex-wife Denise Richards were at the hospital.

TMZ reported the actor received a briefcase full of cocaine in the hours leading up to his “wild” party with a two porn stars and three other women.

He consumed large amounts of the drug which was delivered in multiple bricks in a designer briefcase to his home, a source told the entertainment website.

TMZ said claims that the actor overdosed on drugs were false — but reported he had been partying hard and had been awake for 48 hours before the 911 call was placed at 6:35am PT.

“I can’t comment because I have no idea if it’s true,” publicist Rosenfield said. “You choose to believe your source. I don’t,” he added.

Sheen was partying at his home with women including 22-year-old porn star, Kacey Jordan, who was reportedly contacted by a third party to join the nocturnal shindig.

The actor told Jordan he was a huge fan of her work and had been “searching for her for a year,” a source told TMZ.

Another of the women partying with Sheen was identified later Thursday as a porn star named Melanie Rios. The19-year-old told friends that she was with Sheen at the time the 911 call was made, RadarOnline reported.

Jordan took the news of Sheen’s hospitalization hard — “my phones are ringing off the hook! ugh!,” she wrote in a Twitter message at approximately 12:30pm PT.

Since news broke of Sheen’s emergency investors have been similarly dismayed, sending shares of CBS, which airs “Two and a Half Men,” down about two percent.

Sheen has been in a public tailspin since separating from wife Brooke Mueller in 2010 amid accusations of domestic violence.

He trashed a luxurious New York hotel room amid a coke binge late in October, and then famously dropped tens of thousands of dollars on escort services at a Las Vegas pornography convention earlier this month.

Sheen’s co-star on his hit CBS show, Jon Cryer, was on “Conan” late Wednesday night, discussing the drama over Sheen’s private life and his disbelief at reports of Sheen’s lurid, drug-fueled trysts. “The stuff you hear is just unbelievable,” Cryer told host Conan O’Brien.

“I’m checking TMZ — as I do every day — to see if I have to go to work at all,” he added, a reference to the gossip website that first reported Sheen’s hospitalization.

The duo of Cryer and Sheen are signed up for another full season of the CBS series, with Sheen reportedly pulling in more than $2 million per episode.

Cryer earns $550,000 per episode, according to TV Guide magazine.

The TV show is on hiatus this week, so Sheen’s hospital visit will not impact the show’s filming schedule. He is expected back on set next Tuesday.

Nina Tassler, the president of CBS Entertainment, said earlier this month that the network has “a high level of concern” about Sheen.

“On a very basic human level, I am concerned of course. This man is a father, he has children, he has a family,” she said at the Television Critics Association in California.

He continues, however, to fulfill the terms of his contract with CBS, she noted.

According to TV Guide magazine, Sheen is the highest paid among television actors starring in comedies.
