Fort Greene bar manager choked me during fight: suit

A former bartender at Fort Greene tavern Mo’s is suing the hotspot, claiming a manager choked him during a vicious fight over wages, according to a lawsuit filed in Brooklyn federal court.

Drink slinger Michael Butler claims he wound up in the hospital after he demanded that he and a sobbing waitress at the bar near the Barclays Center be properly paid, according to court papers.

“Mind your own f–king business,” manager David Ransom allegedly said, according to the suit. “This isn’t your concern. I am tired of hearing your voice and tired of your whining.”

“Maybe you could just pay me and the other workers the money you owe us, I wouldn’t whine,” Butler replied, according to the suit. “Pay me my money.”

With tempers flaring, the bartender claims he walked away from Ransom but the irate manager put him in a choke hold from behind that “cut-off Mr. Butler’s airflow,” according to the suit.

Ransom told The Post that Butler was drunk and that workers at the venue are all paid.

“Maybe he wants 15 minutes of fame or to just make a buck,” Ransom said. “It’s especially sad because he was just here a few nights ago to visit and drink and see friends from the neighborhood.”

Butler filed the lawsuit when owner Calvin Clark canned him after the tussle.

His attorney, Lauren Goldberg, did not comment and Butler could not be reached.
