Usher’s stepson declared brain dead following Jet Ski accident: report

The 11-year-old stepson of R&B singer Usher has reportedly been declared brain dead following a horrific Jet Ski accident in Georgia.

Kyle Glover was rushed to the hospital Friday after he was struck in the head by a man riding the watercraft on Lake Lanier, according to WXIA-TV.

Kyle, whose mom, Tameka Foster, is Usher’s ex-wife, was sitting in an inner tube.

He has not shown any brain activity since being air-lifted to a children’s hospital in Atlanta, TMZ.com reported.

No decision has been made on whether to take him off life support, the Web site said.

Sources told TMZ that Usher arrived at Kyle’s bedside Saturday and Foster has been keeping constant vigil.

A 15-year-old girl was also seriously injured in the accident.

Authorities are still investigating whether charges will be filed against the 38-year-old Jet Ski rider, but said alcohol was not a factor, the TV station said.
