‘Heroes’ star goes after ex-hubby for cowardice in court

This “Hero” says her ex-hubby’s all “yellow.” Tawny Cypress, an actress who had a one-season role on the defunct NBC scifi show “Heroes,” accused her ex-hubby Bill Charles, of cowardice in Brooklyn Criminal Court today after his hearing on misdemeanor assault for allegedly roughing up their son in a Park Slope burger joint.

“How much more yellow can you be?” Cypress, 36, snarled after the proceeding.

She then turned to his defense lawyer, Robert Feldman, and said, “Scumbag”.

Charles, 58, faces charges of beating their then 11-year-old son at the Cheeburger Cheeburger in the brownstone ‘hood last June, but the dad says he was set-up by a vindictive Cypress – and then was himself allegedly assaulted by her current beau.

“Her words speak volumes about her character,” said Feldman.

Earlier this month, Charles filed a $1 million lawsuit against Cypress and her current boyfriend Thomas Dillon over the incident.

In the suit, Charles, an agent for professional photographers, claims he was lured to the burger emporium on Seventh Avenue ostensibly to see his son Dexter when he was attacked by Dillon, who he claims decked him with a cell phone, resulting in a concussion.

Prosecutors allege Charles “slammed his [son’s] head and body into a window, threw [the boy] to the floor … and sat on top of [him] and repeatedly” hit him with his hands, according to a criminal complaint.

Since the June 6 incident, there has been a protection order against Charles, who previously had joint-custody of the boy.

The two were married from 2000 to 2004.

Cypress starred in the 2006-2007 season of “Heroes” and also portrayed Carla in the firefighter drama “Rescue Me” in 2009, according to her IMDb page.

“This isn’t a criminal matter for me, this is a criminal matter for Charles. This is not my case,” she said outside of court.
