An elderly man crossing the street with his wife near their Staten Island home was fatally hit by a car, authorities said.
A gray Nissan Armada struck Bujar and Ruizije Hasimja near Jefferson Avenue in Dongan Hills Friday night, cops said. Bujar, 72, died at Staten Island University Hospital. Ruizije, 64, was listed in stable condition last night.
The driver was not expected to be charged.
