Fashion buzz: Bringing up grandbébé

Julia Restoin Roitfeld has the bébé bug. The 32-year-old model/lingerie designer will be launching her own online publication devoted to motherhood and pregnancy “in a few weeks,” she told Buzz at Tuesday night’s Shopbop fete celebrating the launch of Mugler. Roitfeld, who had her baby girl Romy in May with longtime lover, Swedish model Robert Konjic, admits she’s surprised by how hands-on her editrix mother, Carine Roitfeld, has been with the babe. “I actually trust her much more than I expected,” she said, adding that the CR magazine editor-in-chief wants her grandchild to address her, not as grandma, but as “babushka,” which means, “an elderly Russian woman.” Expect to see a lot of headscarves in the next issue of CR.

THE FUR CORNER

Staying warm during this weekend’s snowstorm will be especially difficult for “The Face’s” Coco Rocha. “My furnace broke last night!” the Westchester-based supermodel lamented at the Dannijo presentation at the Jane Hotel yesterday. “So I’m staying in the city as long as I can.” Keeping her warm in the meantime? “I have a furry friend out there who’s covering me quite well. His name’s Dennis Basso,” she joked, about the designer label on her back.

THE FAME MONSTER

Nicola Formichetti, creative director of Mugler and BFF to Lady Gaga, finds it “really sad” that Gaga’s ex-assistant, Jennifer O’Neill, is suing the pop star for nearly $400,000. “It’s like one of your best friends suing you because you’ve become famous,” said Formichetti. “Gaga is a normal girl. She might be wearing crazy clothes, but she’s very close to her family and friends,” he said. “I hope they sort it out.”
