An MTA plumber hit by a stray bullet in Bedford-Stuyvesant was rushed to Kings County Hospital — where doctors found the slug lodged in his jacket and the man shaken but unharmed, sources said.
Cops said the suspect pictured was carrying a gun when he got into an argument with a 16-year-old foe on a subway train pulling into the Utica Avenue A/C station at about 10:35 a.m. Wednesday, sources said.
The trash talk continued on the street near Boys and Girls HS, then the gun-toter fired four or five shots, missing his foe but nailing the 49-year-old plumber across the street, sources said.
At the hospital, the victim learned just how lucky he was when doctors found the bullet in his jacket and not his torso.

Five suspects, including one announcing himself as a Fed Ex employee, robbed a family in East New York, police said.
The phony deliveryman knocked on the door of a home at Euclid and Jamaica avenues at about 3:40 p.m. on Feb. 1.
When one victim opened the door, the five goons assaulted and robbed the four occupants, cops said.
A 72-year-old victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital for minor injuries, cops said.
The suspects are in their late 30s to early 40s, authorities said.

Cops executing a drug-search warrant in Red Hook arrested a couple at an apartment, police said at a recent 76th Precinct community-council meeting.
Police arrested Ricardo Acosta, 27, and Nancy Ballard, 32, at about 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 31 at the Red Hook East Houses on West 9th Street, court papers state.
A police ESU team found a Pepsi can containing crack-cocaine residue, as well as 14 crack twists, authorities said.
Cops also found dozens of 147 marijuana blunts in a container and two more in an ash tray.
The suspects were charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and unlawful possession of marijuana.

A Crown Heights gun-man smoked a foe amid an argument over a borrowed cigarette, law-enforcement sources said yesterday.
At about 1:20 a.m. on Jan. 31, Kenneth Davis, 35, interceded in an altercation between his gal pal and an unidentified man over a single cigarette borrowed a week earlier at an apartment building on Empire Boulevard, sources said.
The unidentified man took off after a brief tussle with Davis, but returned minutes later with 21-year-old cohort Jason Henry, sources said.
The pair allegedly attacked Davis, hitting him repeatedly with a lock stuffed in a sock.
Davis allegedly pulled a gun and shot Henry once in the torso.
Henry staggered and collapsed dead on the ground.
Davis fled but was captured Wednesday and held without bail following his arraignment.
Staten Island
Police arrested a heartless brute who while arguing with his ex-girlfriend allegedly killed her cat, authorities said.
Buriell Jones, 57, was busted Tuesday in the Oct. 2 attack at the Stapleton Houses, where he allegedly pitched her beloved pet eight stories to the ground on Broad Street near Gordon Street, according to court records.
The 7-year-old feline died from internal injuries, said Joe Pentangelo of the New York ASPCA.
“Unfortunately, he took his anger out on the cat,” Pentangelo said.
Jones was slapped with charges of aggravated cruelty to animals and torturing and injuring animals, said a spokesman for District Attorney Daniel Donovan.
He was being held in lieu of $1,000 bail.
The Bronx
A would-be robber was seen on video cornering a woman in an apartment-building elevator near Van Cortlandt Park, police said yesterday.
The suspect followed the 27-year-old into the elevator at about 8:15 p.m. on Jan. 31, indicated he had a gun and tried to snatch the victim’s belongings, cops added.
The woman fought the man off, according to police.
The suspect is believed to be in his 40s, and during the attack was wearing glasses, a goatee, a khaki overcoat and a cap.
Queens
Police are eyeing the suspects pictured in a string of hotel robberies, authorities said.
The two thieves started their crime spree on Dec. 29 at 1:10 p.m. at a Quality Inn in Jamaica, police said.
On Monday, they robbed a Howard Johnson in Rochdale at 6:30 p.m., cops said.
On Tuesday they hit the LaQuinta on Van Wyck Boulevard in South Ozone Park, police said.
