The Who: Fern Mallis and Marie Claire’s Zanna Roberts Rassi were among those at the sceny Dream Downtown, where most of the accents were British, and Sachin + Babi showed their collection in the plush, PHD rooftop lounge.
The What: Inspired by the Northern Lights, pieces were marked by kaleidoscope prints, sequins and pearl beading. Leather also abounded — accenting jersey leggings, adorned with zippers on skirts and paired with neoprene on dresses.
The Highlight: A sequined sweatsuit that would make for very luxe lounging… or party-hopping… or anything. (The blunt-cut ponytails rocked by the models were a close second.)
The Takeaway: Clean, versatile and sealed with a kiss by Sacin + Babi’s husband and wife design team at the end.
