A galaxy far, far away might be coming to Disneyland

This is the theme park you are looking for.

“Star Wars” fans might have another thing to look forward to beyond another trilogy of films because Disney is exploring the possibility of making a “Star Wars Land” at Disneyland.

The rumors comes from a survey sent to Disneyland Annual Pass holders asking how interested they would be in a “Star Wars themed land at the Disneyland Resort?”

Disneyland currently has eight distinct “lands” while Disneyland Resort contains both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park.

It is unclear if Disney is exploring a “land” within Disneyland or an entirely separate “Star Wars” theme park.

Since Disney bought “Star Wars” for $4.05 billion in October fans have been treated to a steady stream of “Star Wars” announcements.

First, Disney promised fans three new films and hinted at spin offs for popular characters like Yoda and the bounty hunter Boba Fett.

Then it was confirmed that fanboy favorite J.J. Abrams would be directing “Star Wars: Episode VII” which is going to be released in the summer of 2015.

Finally, George Lucas said that Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher and Mark Hamill would return to the roles that made them famous.
