With the city’s economy reeling and film and TV productions heading for the door, Mayor Bloomberg called on Albany lawmakers yesterday to reinstate tax credits that will keep the industry and 19,000 jobs in New York.
“We’ve worked very hard to explain to Albany how important it is,” Bloomberg said of negotiations to fund tax credits that are seen as responsible for New York’s boom in film and TV production.
