A Bronx dad was lured to his death early yesterday morning, fatally shot in the throat inside an apartment building as his 2-year-old daughter and his girlfriend waited in a car outside.
Craig Brewington, 28, was shot once in the stairwell of a Bronxwood apartment building, and cops couldn’t immediately find any witnesses to the murder.
Brewington had been out to eat with his young daughter and his girlfriend before he received a voicemail or text message, according to his heartbroken mom, Renee Brewington.
The victim asked to be driven to 2857 Barker Ave., where he went inside, his mom said.
Brewington said a friend owed her son money, and he thought he was going there to pick it up.
Cops said the victim had four prior arrests for minor incidents, including drugs.
