MOB KILLER GETS MAX

The son of a Genovese crime-family associate was whacked yesterday with the maximum sentence of 25 years to life for the gory knife slaying of a man.

Vincent Arena, 22, was unemotional as Justice Plummer Lott handed down the stiff sentence for the Sept. 5, 2005, killing inside Arena’s van in Brooklyn.

“You are a monster and deserve to rot in jail for the rest of your life,” the mother of victim Anthony Braccia, wrote in a letter to the court. “I cannot even begin to imagine how my son must have suffered at your hands . . . while you savagely stabbed him over 30 times.”

Prosecutors alleged that Arena took an instant dislike to Braccia, 27, and tried to rob him at knifepoint.
