2 alleged mobsters cop pleas in extortion case

Two reputed mobsters facing an extortion trial next week for a massive gangland effort to control the New York-New Jersey garbage-carting industry suddenly copped pleas on Thursday.

The 11th-hour deals came after the feds sweetened offers when it came to light that their star witness agreed to wear a wire only after being caught in an underage sex-tryst Internet sting.

Scott Fappiano — who became a poster-boy for DNA-crime-scene testing in 2006 when cleared of raping a cop’s wife after more than two decades in jail — is facing 15 to 21 months behind bars. Anthony Bazzini faces 12 to 18 months in prison.

Fappiano, 52, of Staten Island, and Bazzini, 54, of Glen Head, LI, copped pleas in Manhattan federal court to interfering with commerce by threatening bodily harm between 2011 and 2012.
